About the role
n
We are seeking experienced Content Designers to support the development and delivery of high-quality content across teams. Content Designers ensure content aligns with strategic objectives while meeting the needs of users.
n
These are Baseline roles, and candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance.
n Location of work:QLD, ACT, VIC
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Liaise with stakeholders to support technical publications through all phases of development, including research, scoping, consultation, review and publishing.
n
Conduct research to develop mitigation advice that is technically accurate and suitable for the intended audience.
n
Create and publish content consistent with organizational messaging, including publications, web content, social media posts, eLearning materials and other interactive tools.
n
Liaise with stakeholders regarding technical consultation and promotion of content through campaigns and other initiatives.
n
Design, develop, review and manage complex information deliverables, ensuring quality, consistency, accessibility and appropriate use of publishing channels.
n
Support measurement activities, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
n
Apply user experience design principles to create effective, accessible and user-focused content and interactions.
n

Highly desirable criteria
n
n




Demonstrated experience in Content Authoring at SFIA Level 4, including designing complex information deliverables, managing content quality and consistency, and taking responsibility for appropriate publication.
n
Demonstrated experience in Content Publishing at SFIA Level 4, including selecting appropriate publishing channels, maintaining content management processes and advising content authors on publishing tools and techniques.
n
Demonstrated ability to build and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
n
Strong research and written communication skills, with a focus on technical writing and content editing.
n
n
Desirable criteria
n
n
Experience developing technical publications and content for complex or highly regulated environments.
n
Experience creating web content, social media content, eLearning materials and interactive digital content.
n
Experience applying user experience, accessibility, usability and visual design principles to content development.
n
Experience working with content management systems and digital publishing platforms.
n
Experience working within government, defence, intelligence, cyber security or other security-sensitive environments.
n

Experience applying user experience design practices consistent with SFIA Level 3, including storyboards, wireframes and prototypes.
n
Strong understanding of usability, accessibility and visual design principles.
n
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
n
Current Baseline security clearance.
