The Role
n
Reporting to the Coordinator
TransportOperations
and based primarily out of Council's depot at Wilberforce. Thepurpose of this role is to provide leadership to, and be accountable for, theperformance of the day labour workforce and contractors that are responsiblefor the completion of construction projects on Council's transport andstormwater assets. The Team Leader will ensure agreed specifications are met andwithin agreed timeframes, as directed by the Coordinator Transport Operations.

About You
n
You will have a minimum of 5+ years demonstrated experienceleading teams in operational activities in a construction environment. You willbe adept at using work management systems and have robust experience in
workprioritisation.




You will demonstrate astute judgement and professionalism whichwill support you to effectively and positively supervise and motivate the team,as well as build and maintain cooperative working relationships with internaland external stakeholders.

Tertiary qualifications in relevant
technicaldiscipline
or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
n
Accredited to prepare a work zone trafficmanagement plan (PWZ)
n
5+ years demonstrated experience leadingoperational activities in a construction or maintenance environment
n
Demonstrated experience in work managementsystems and work prioritisation
n
Ability to determine project
requirements,interpret
plans and plan and execute works
n
Professionalverbal and written communication skills
n
The right to live and work in Australia
n
Class C Drivers Licence
n
WHS General Construction Work in NSW
n
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
n
