Job Description
Westside Meat Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Warehouse Administrator to coordinate the administrative aspects of its chilled, frozen and finished-product storage and distribution operations. The successful applicant will maintain warehouse records, administer stock movements and coordinate with production, inventory, transport and dispatch personnel.

Maintain accurate warehouse, pallet and product-location records.
n
Coordinate the receipt, storage and dispatch of meat products and operational supplies.
n
Record and monitor stock movements into and out of chilled and frozen storage.
n
Maintain product-identification, batch and traceability records.
n
Monitor warehouse capacity and advise relevant personnel of storage requirements.
n
Coordinate loading and dispatch schedules with warehouse and transport personnel.
n
Prepare and verify warehouse and dispatch documentation.
n
Reconcile physical stock against electronic warehouse and inventory records.
n
Investigate and report warehouse or stock discrepancies.
n
Record damaged, rejected, expired or quarantined products.
n




Liaise with production, stock control, customer orders and transport personnel.
n
Prepare warehouse activity, capacity and inventory reports.
n
Comply with cold-chain, food-safety, workplace health and safety and company procedures.

Skill & Experience

Qualifications and Experience
n
Applicants should have:
n
n
A relevant AQF Certificate II or III, or an equivalent qualification; or at least one year of relevant warehouse administration, logistics or distribution experience.
n
Experience using warehouse or inventory-management systems.
n
An understanding of stock movements, warehouse documentation and dispatch processes.
n
Strong organisational and recordkeeping skills.
n
Sound computer and spreadsheet skills.
n
Good communication and coordination abilities.
n
The ability to work accurately in a temperature-controlled processing and distribution workplace.
n
Experience in food production, meat processing, cold storage or regulated warehousing is desirable.
