Technology Procurement Business Partner - Sydney or Canberra

As a Procurement Business Partner, you'll lead complex procurement activities and act as a trusted advisor, working across the full lifecycle from sourcing and tendering through to contract management and post-award support. Partner with senior leaders across Technology and Transformation to provide procurement insights, commercial analysis and market intelligence that support strategic decision-making and investment outcomes.

This role requires someone who is confident working through complexity and ambiguity, able to bring stakeholders together, define issues and deliver outcome-focused solutions.
n
You'll also play a key role in strengthening supplier management practices, embedding consistent approaches to contract management, renewal planning and governance, while maximising value from external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end procurement across sourcing, tendering and contract management
n
Provide practical, outcome-focused commercial advice to stakeholders
n
Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned to business needs
n
Lead supplier negotiations and manage key commercial outcomes
n
Manage tenders and ensure contracts align with CSC governance
n
Build robust supplier relationships, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement
n
n
What you'll need to excel
n
n
Experience leading end-to-end procurement activities within a complex environment
n
Tertiary qualifications in law, business or another discipline relevant to procurement and contract management, or an equivalent combination of experience and training, including a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or higher.
n
Excellent communication and influencing skills,
with a practical approach to problem-solving and building strong relationships
n
Strong commercial acumen across pricing, negotiation and risk
n
Knowledge of technology categories (cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, infrastructure, licensing)
n
Knowledge of procurement-related legislation applicable to superannuation industry and Australian Government
n
Work within a supportive, people-focused culture that values work-life balance

Partner directly with senior leaders across the business, providing strategic advice and influencing decisions on critical initiatives
n
