Mater Hospital Springfield Surgical Department

is seeking experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses. Be part of our team with a range of opportunities available, including permanent full time, part time and maximum-term roles.

Based at our Springfield campus, these roles are a part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield - which opened early ****. As Mater's first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it's set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.

Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing
n
We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurses who will be motivated by a challenging and fast paced environment.
n
n
Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
n
Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
n
Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
n
Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
n
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued qualified growth
n
n
About you
n
n
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum 12 months postgraduate experience in an Surgical setting
n
Previous experience in emergency nursing would be highly regarded
n
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Outstanding communication and time management skills
n
n
