Our childcare centres are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children's development and the positions available are located in RANDWICK NSW **** & SHELLHARBOUR NSW **** Position Overview: As a Diploma Early Childhood Educator, you are expected to be an active member and mentor of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children ages 0-5. This includes:

Developing robust relationships with children at the service;
n
Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families;
n
Implementing and always uphold the policies and associated procedures and practices of the
n
n
organisation; and
n
n
Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations
n
n
and service. Key Tasks include: Lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care;
n
n
Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law
n
n
and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care;




n
n
Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics;
n
Working in accordance with the services Code of Conduct;
n
Implementing and upholding the services' philosophy while undertaking all duties;
n
Facilitating the implementation of contemporary, research-based practices at the service;
n
Keep up to date with relevant theoretical practices and apply where directed;
n
Maintain and uphold Workplace Health and Safety;
n
Maintain and uphold privacy and confidentiality;
n
Providing ongoing support and assistance to other staff in all areas of service operation;
n
Providing ongoing support and assistance to the Director and Approved
Provider/Management
n
n
Committee;
n
n
Sound knowledge and understanding of the
n
n
Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
n
n
Ensure you have a sound understanding of the expectations outlined in this document to enable
n
n
work performance to be executed according to our service standards.
n
n
Undertake other duties requested by the Director.
n
n
Minimum Qualification/s required -Diploma in Children's Services recognised by ACEQA -Current Working with Children Check
