Gen Developer | APS6 Equivalent | Contract

Location: QLD | ACT | VIC | NSW | SA
n Work Arrangement: Hybrid minimum 3 days/week onsite
n Contract: Up to 12 months + extension options up to 24 months
n Start Date: 1 October ****
n Hours: Up to 40 hours/week
n Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance

We are looking for an experienced Gen Developer to join a large-scale Australian government technology workplace and contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of critical software systems.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop, test, debug and maintain high-quality software
n
Analyse technical requirements and design development solutions
n
Provide technical advice and support across development and maintenance activities
n




Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
n
Develop and maintain technical documentation
n
Support testing, deployment and go-live activities
n
Work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders
n
n
Essential
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience with Gen development
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience with Cuba or similar systems
n
Experience with COBOL development and debugging
n
Experience developing SOAP services, REST APIs and MQ
n
Experience in Win32 application development
n
n
