Our client, a well-established public practice accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Accountant ready to step into a Supervisor / Junior Manager position.
Reporting directly to a Manager and leading a small team, this role has been designed as a genuine pathway to Manager while allowing you to continue developing your technical expertise and client relationships.
This is an outstanding prospect for someone who enjoys technical work but is ready to build leadership skills, develop a team, and gain greater ownership of workflow, client management, and business advisory exposure.

The Opportunity
As Supervisor, you'll bridge the gap between Senior Accountant and Manager, combining hands-on technical delivery with people leadership responsibilities.
You'll play a key role in supporting junior team members, managing workflow, and ensuring quality client outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing financial statements and tax compliance work prepared by junior team members
Coordinating workflow, deadlines, and team capacity
Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact
Coaching and mentoring junior accountants
Managing your own portfolio of client work
Monitoring WIP and identifying scope or billing concerns
Supporting onboarding and maintaining quality standards across the team
About You
To be successful, you'll ideally bring:
3-7 years' experience within public practice accounting
Strong technical skills across tax and compliance
CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards)
Experience reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
A genuine desire to progress into leadership and management roles
