Job Description
n
Join the dedicated nursing team at Naracoorte Health Service as an Enrolled Nurse and contribute to the delivery of protected, high-quality and person-centred care within our Acute Unit.
n
Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will provide nursing care within your scope of practice, undertake patient assessment and routine clinical procedures, recognise and upscale changes in clinical condition and contribute to individual care planning.
n
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, support patients and their families through education and communication, and contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and the ongoing development of your clinical skills.

About the Candidate
n
You are a compassionate and accountable Enrolled Nurse committed to providing safe, person-centred care.
You communicate effectively, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and can prioritise your workload while recognising and responding appropriately to changes in a patient's clinical condition. You are also committed to ongoing learning and professional development.,

Be enrolled, or eligible for enrolment, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
n
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
n
Be able to prioritise your workload, recognise and report changes in clinical condition and provide safe, person-centred care.
n
Have experience providing nursing care within a healthcare setting in accordance with appropriate standards of practice.
n
Demonstrate an understanding of the Enrolled Nurse role, relevant legislation, professional standards, codes and ethical requirements, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
n
A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
n
A satisfactory Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
n
A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
