Bundaberg Swimming Academy is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Learn to Swim Instructors to join our professional and supportive team.

We are passionate about helping swimmers of all ages build confidence, develop essential water safety skills and enjoy the lifelong benefits of swimming.

We have opportunities available across all levels, including babies, toddlers, school aged swimmers and mini squads. Whether you are an experienced instructor or interested in starting a career in swim teaching, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role
n
As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will deliver high quality swimming lessons in a fun, engaging and safe environment.
n
Bundaberg Swimming Academy operates seven days a week, with opportunities available during school hours, after school and on weekends.
n
Our programs include:
n

Private Learn to Swim lessons
n
Baby and toddler programs
n
School aged Learn to Swim
n
Stroke development and mini squads
n
A large school swimming program
n
n
With a wide range of teaching hours available, we can work with you to find hours that suit your availability, including around family, study or other work commitments.

What We're Looking For
n
n
Swim Australia or AUSTSWIM qualification, or willingness to obtain
n




Current First Aid certificate, or ability to obtain
n
Working with Children Blue Card, or ability to obtain
n
Solid communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching
n
Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
n
Ability to create a safe, encouraging and enjoyable learning environment
n
n
Experience teaching infants, toddlers, stroke development or mini squads will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
