Ideally based in Wollongong or Shellharbour, NSW

Areas to cover are:

Woonona – 26 residents (Thursdays)
n
Horsley – 29 residents (Thursdays)
n
8 hours per month (1 day)

We are working with a company that are looking for Vocationally or Generally registered GP to work on a refer and request basis for an Aged Care GP Program. The Doctor will be using a combination of visits or telehealth to service the areas. Items will be bulk billed on refer and request provider Number. Improved continuation of care and clinical handover through integration of health systems and records

Seamless and simple booking system

Secure data access and video conferencing

Allows closer involvement of family members and carers with consultations with facility staff and health care professionals
n
Stronger collaboration between clinicians in primary care and the care facility
n
This model addresses several of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care
n

Eligibility
n
n
Doctors must have Vocational or General Registration
n
Doctor must have full Australian work rights
n
Doctors must have experience in ED and or General Practice.
n
Doctors that are restricted by the moratorium are able to apply.

Refer and Request Provider Number for Nursing Homes throughout the Wollongong
n
Remuneration Rates of Pay: $160/hr + GST
n
