Bespoke Group Travel Designer
n Location: Abbotsford, Melbourne - Hybrid, 3 days per week in office
n Salary: From $75,000 + super + bonus
n Reports to: Head of Reservations and Incentives

About the Role
n
Localing is looking for an experienced Bespoke Group Travel Designer to create and coordinate highly personalised journeys across Australia.
n
You'll primarily design bespoke private travel, while also supporting selected group, corporate and incentive programs. This is a hands-on role combining creative itinerary design, sales, supplier relationships and operational coordination.
n
You'll work closely with our reservations, operations and experience teams to turn a client's interests, travel style and objectives into thoughtful, seamless journeys that feel distinctly Localing.

What You'll Do
n
n
Design bespoke private, group and incentive itineraries across Australia
n
Manage enquiries from initial brief through to proposal, booking and travel
n
Create tailored recommendations, proposals and quotes based on guest interests and budgets
n
Liaise with hotels, guides, experience partners and other suppliers
n
Work closely with reservations and operations to ensure every detail is accurate and deliverable
n
Support VIP and high-value guests, including occasional on-ground hosting




n
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners
n
Contribute to new product, itinerary and experience development
n
Maintain accurate client and booking information within Localing's CRM and systems
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who combines strong travel knowledge with creativity, organisation and genuine warmth.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
3+ years' experience across groups, incentives, FIT, travel design or tour operations
n
Strong knowledge of Australian destinations, experiences and tourism product
n
Experience in luxury or bespoke travel
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving parts
n
Confidence working with CRMs, booking systems and digital tools
n
A collaborative, calm and solutions-focused approach
n

The Role
n
This is a Melbourne-based hybrid position, with three days per week in our Abbotsford office.
n
As a guest-facing role within a national business, occasional interstate travel, weekend work and flexibility outside standard hours will be required for hosted experiences, VIP guests and industry events.
