What you'll be doing
n
As the Administration Officer in this important frontline role, you will provide high-quality clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of D4A Ward and support optimal patient outcomes.
n
In this role you will:
n
n
Manage patient admissions, discharges, transfers and related transactions in iPMS
n
Maintain accurate patient records, medical files and ward documentation in line with WSLHD policies
n
Coordinate discharge transport,
medication chart and script couriering, and ward correspondence
n
Monitor bed allocations, complete daily statistical reports and support efficient ward operations
n
Provide professional reception and clerical support to staff, patients and visitors while maintaining a welcoming ward workplace
n
n
Selection Criteria:
n
n
Proven extensive clerical experience in an office support role.
n
Demonstrate extensive
receptionist/customer
service skills.
n
Demonstrated excellent clerical organisational and time management skills.
n
Demonstrated effective communication skills - verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
n
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team situation.
n
Competent computer skills in a Windows based environment and a knowledge of databases.
n
Demonstrated ability to adapt to flexible work practices
n
n
