We are currently seeking experienced Substation Electricians to join a projectin regional NSW.
n
This is an opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest and most significant high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects.
n
THE ROLE As a Substation Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment across the Substation project.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Installation of switchboards, control panels and switchgear
n
Installation and termination of cabling
n
Installation of earthing systems
n
Installation of transformers and associated substation equipment
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
n
Cable testing and fault finding
n
Electrical testing and quality inspections
n
Identifying and rectifying installation defects
n
Working alongside engineers, supervisors, contractors and project management
n
Maintaining a high standard of electrical workmanship and site safety
n
Ensuring all work complies with project, electrical and safety requirements
n

SUBSTATION ELECTRICIANS

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered, you will have:
n

Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
n
Current Electrical Licence
n
Construction White Card
n
Working Platform / EWP High Risk Work Licence
n
Current LV Rescue
n
Previous experience working on substations, HV infrastructure or major electrical construction projects
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
n
Additional high-risk work licences and HV experience will be highly regarded.
n
