About the Opportunity
n
We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a leading power tools organisation on a casual basis.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded technician with experience repairing power tools, mechanical equipment or similar products.
n
You will work in a professional workshop workplace, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and testing equipment to ensure it is returned to customers in excellent working condition.
n
About the Role
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Diagnosing and fault-finding power tools and equipment
n
Repairing and servicing tools to manufacturer standards
n
Conducting functional and safety testing
n
Recording repair findings, labour and parts accurately
n
Identifying and reporting parts shortages or technical issues
n
Maintaining a strong daily repair output
n
Following technical procedures and safety requirements
n




Assisting with dispatch during busy periods
n
Working closely with the Supervisor and wider team
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience repairing power tools or similar
mechanical/electrical
equipment
n
Strong mechanical aptitude
n
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
A high level of attention to detail
n
Good problem-solving ability
n
The ability to work independently
n
Strong time management and organisational skills
n
Basic to intermediate computer skills
n
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
n
