DC Search is partnering with a leading renewable energy operator to recruit a Mechanical Technician for a solar farm near Parkes, NSW.

As part of the site-based Operations & Maintenance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and secure operation of the plant. This is a great opportunity to secure a permanent position within Australia's growing renewable energy sector.

Your Day-to-Day
n
n
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and site infrastructure.
n
Inspect, maintain, and repair solar tracker systems and associated components.
n
Perform routine inspections to monitor equipment performance.
n
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and complete repairs as required.
n
Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
n
Assist with general site maintenance alongside the wider Operations & Maintenance team.
n
Operate site equipment,



including tractors, RTVs, and mowing equipment.
n

What You'll Need
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanical or trade-based role.
n
Mechanical trade qualification (Certificate II or III desirable).
n
High Risk Work Licence.
n
Current C Class Driver's Licence.
n
Experience working with similar mechanical systems.
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a valid National Police Check.
n
Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting systems.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
