Clinical Nurse Surgical Day Care Unit & 23-Hour Ward

Permanent part time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

Permanent part time opportunity to apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the SDCU and 23-hour Ward.
n
Utilise communication processes and systems which enhance consumer/patient care delivery and unit functioning.
n
Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.

Integrate organisational policies and guidelines with professional standards by maintaining current knowledge and participating in relevant policy review.
