CNC Tube Laser Cutter Operator $36 – $40 per hour (pending experience) We are recruiting for a state-of-the-art laser cutting and metal fabrication facility, seeking an experienced CNC Tube Laser Cutter Operator to join their production team on day shift.

About the Role
n
You'll be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC tube laser cutting machines, producing high-precision tube and profile parts across a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. This is a outstanding opportunity to work with modern, high-speed laser cutting technology in a well-established and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, program and operate CNC tube laser cutting machines
n
Load and unload tube and profile material safely and efficiently
n
Monitor cutting quality and machine performance, adjusting settings as required
n
Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
n
Safely operate a forklift for the loading, unloading and movement of materials
n
Assist with overhead crane operation where required
n
Maintain accurate production and quality records
n
Adhere to WHS, quality and company compliance standards at all times
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience operating CNC tube laser cutting equipment essential
n
LF Forklift Licence required
n
Crane licence highly regarded
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
n
Ability to read and interpret technical
drawings/specifications
n
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
n
Sound communication skills and a professional approach
n
