The Role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Revenue Operations Task Author to design and calibrate realistic enterprise work problems that train and evaluate advanced AI agents.
You will author task prompts, write scoring rubrics, and validate tasks so they are challenging while remaining objectively gradable.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role for candidates in Australia.
The listing is marked entry level, but the work requires hands‐on experience in revenue operations, sales operations,



or a closely related function at an industrial or enterprise company.

What You'll Do
You will turn authentic revenue operations workflows into well‐defined AI training and evaluation tasks.
Each task must place an AI agent in a realistic business situation, provide a sound way to assess its work, and be tested until its difficulty and grading criteria are reliable.
Author prompts based on bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment status, and recognized revenue.
Write scoring rubrics that specify exactly what a correct answer looks like and how it should be evaluated.
Set up task environments that recreate realistic work situations using the business systems a human employee would use.
Solve each task yourself to validate its soundness and confirm that the rubric is accurate.
Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity, ambiguity, or required steps until the task reliably challenges the model.
Review and correct AI‐drafted task prompts or rubrics when they are provided.
Requirements




You should have practical experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related function within an industrial or enterprise company.
The role requires confidence working with business systems, interpreting operational data, and translating professional judgment into precise evaluation standards.
Hands‐on revenue operations or sales operations experience at an enterprise company
Deep familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
Ability to query and interpret account and bookings data
Strong understanding of bookings, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition concepts
Ability to define exact, verifiable correctness criteria
An iterative mindset and willingness to test, refine, and retest tasks
Comfort using business communication tools and dashboards in multi‐system workflows
Helpful Background
Candidates with experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context may be especially well suited to the work.
A background in enterprise B2B environments with complex deal structures is also helpful.
The strongest applicants can describe how they would build a task that reliably challenges a capable AI agent while remaining clearly and objectively gradable.
Familiarity with the everyday software and workflows of revenue operations is important.
AI training or evaluation experience in a sales or revenue setting
