Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (BACHS) is seeking a passionate and experienced Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Manager to lead and grow culturally safe, community-driven wellbeing programs that create lasting change for Aboriginal people and families in Bourke and surrounding communities.
n

About the role
n
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the SEWB Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across BACHS' Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs and services. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team delivering culturally safe programs that support individuals, families and the wider community.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Leading and mentoring SEWB staff and contractors
n
Driving community engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs
n
Strengthening partnerships with community organisations and government agencies
n
Managing program delivery, budgets, reporting and funding requirements
n
Supporting strategic growth and innovation across SEWB services
n
Ensuring services are culturally safe, community-informed and outcomes-focused
n
n
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in community, values collaboration and is passionate about improving Aboriginal health and wellbeing outcomes.
n
About you
n
You are a values-driven leader with experience in health, mental health, allied health or community services, ideally within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service or similar environment.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, mental health, health, wellness or related discipline
n
AHPRA registration or Accredited Mental Health Care provider
n
Strong leadership and people management skills
n
Experience managing programs, budgets and funding agreements
n
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
n
A genuine commitment to culturally safe and community-led service delivery
n
n
