Village is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Site Manager to join our friendly housing team. This full-time role reports directly to the Construction Manager. You will lead and supervise all in office construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projects.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projects
n
Ensure daily operations align with project plans, program, and Construction Manager direction
n
Provide practical construction input throughout the design and pre-construction phases of townhouse developments including buildability, staging, methodology and value engineering reviews
n
Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to Foremen and site teams
n
Develop and manage the construction program, ensuring progress aligns with time, cost and quality benchmarks
n
Drive sequencing, scheduling, site set‐out and defect‐free delivery across projects
n
Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of labour, materials and plant
n
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, NCC requirements and company standards
n




Coordinate civil contractors, authorities and infrastructure works
n
Promote and maintain a superior safety culture
n

About you
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager, Senior Foreman or similar supervisory role
n
Demonstrated experience managing townhouse developments and associated civil works
n
Experience coordinating multiple work fronts, subcontractors and project stakeholders
n
Experience supervising and mentoring site teams
n
Building Licence preferred
n
Trade Qualification preferred
n
Building/Construction
Degree, Diploma or Certificate preferred
n
Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies, NCC requirements and quality standards
n
Strong leadership, communication and trade coordination skills
n
Sound understanding of WHS legislation and site safety requirements
n
