n Nextt is seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing support to a client with a spinal injury in Port Macquarie.
n
Due to the personal care requirements of the role and the client's preference, this position is open to female applicants only.
n
About the Role
n
We are looking for a confident, reliable and experienced Support Worker who is comfortable providing complex care while supporting the client's dignity, independence and daily routine.
n
Support will include:
n
n
Personal care
n
Bowel care
n
Manual handling
n
Supporting the client with their daily routine and care needs
n
n
Shifts
n
Shifts are available 7 days per week, commencing at 6:00am through to mid-afternoon.
n
There is flexibility to select days that suit your availability, making this role suitable for applicants seeking regular morning/day shifts.
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be considered, you will need:
n
n




Previous experience supporting clients with spinal injuries and/or complex care needs
n
Demonstrated experience with personal care and bowel care
n
Robust manual handling experience
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
Completed NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
n
Current Valid Driver's Licence
n
Reliable transport
n
A respectful, patient and person-centred approach to support
n
n
Pay Rates
n
E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)
n
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

Base hourly rate: $*****
n
Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $*****
n
Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday)$*****
n
Saturday: $*****
n
Sunday: $*****
n
Public holiday: $*****
