What you'll be doing
n
As the Administration Officer in this dynamic role, you will provide high-level clerical, reception and customer service support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of outpatient clinics.
n
In this role you will be required to:
n
Manage patient appointments, registrations, waitlists and clinic bookings.
n
Provide professional reception services and respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries.
n
Support Medicare bulk billing and revenue-related administrative processes.
n
Coordinate administrative systems, records and office communications in line with LHD policies.
n
Contribute to service improvement, accreditation activities and training of administration staff as required.
n
Selection Criteria
n
Proven extensive clerical experience in a busy reception/customer service position.
n
Evidence of high level verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Expertise in computer skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Client/Patient Management Systems
n
Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines
n
Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality and knowing when to elevate matters of importance and/or urgency.
n
