Overview
n
We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician (Level 2/3) to join our core trade team working on building façades. You will typically work on a single site from project start to finish which can last several months. While rope access is essential, the focus of the role is on delivering high-quality trade outcomes using rope access as the access method. You will also be exposed to CPR's advanced access systems, including power ascenders (PEARS).

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate within an efficient 3-6 person trade team with hands-on support by a Supervisor/Leading Hand
n
Play a key role in rigging and access establishment alongside our in-house Safety Officer
n
Perform painting, remedial repairs, façade cleaning, and general maintenance works using rope access methods
n
Assess minor defects on site and carry out practical repair solutions
n
Maintain high safety standards and comply with rope access procedures
n
From time to time, you may manage site logistics, equipment, and reporting for completed works communicating with Project Managers
n
Represent CPR professionally when interacting with clients, residents, and stakeholders
n
n
Essential Skills & Experience
n
n
IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification or equivalent
n
4+ years experience working with rope access on building façades
n
4+ years experience in painting and coatings, façade maintenance, cleaning, and/or remedial works
n
Strong verbal and written English (competent to ensure on-site crew safety)
n
Confident communicating with stakeholders, growth mindset, reliable, and committed
n
Confident using smartphones and apps (photos, job notes, communication)
n
n
Mandatory Requirements

Permanent work rights or long-term work rights
n
Construction Safety (White Card)
n
Work Safely at Heights
n
Driver's License
n
n
Desirable (Not Essential)
n
n
Experience using power ascenders e.g. Skylotec ActSafe ACX, Mode Smart Spider Pro, or similar system with mechanical lifting advantage
n
Trade background in painting, building maintenance, and/or remedial works (e.g. rendering, waterproofing, cladding, glazing)
n
Formal trade qualification
n
Own vehicle
n
n
Ideal Candidate

Has previously worked as a leading hand or senior tradesperson on external works
n
May suit someone who has previously run their own small operation and is looking to be part of a larger, structured team environment
n
Open to adopting to CPR's scaffold-free systems and innovative access methods
