Business Development Manager - MSP & Technology Services

Inlight IT provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, networking and practical AI services to Australian businesses.
n
We are looking for a proven Business Development Manager with established industry relationships and a track record of opening doors, creating opportunities and winning new technology-services clients across the Australian SMB and mid-market.
n
This is a hands-on growth role for someone who knows the market, understands how technology services are bought and can move opportunities forward quickly.

What you will do
n
n
Identify and approach high-value target organisations
n
Create opportunities through industry relationships, referrals, partners and targeted outreach
n
Open new accounts and develop commercial relationships
n
Turn initial conversations into qualified opportunities
n
Work with our technical team to shape and close the right solutions
n
Develop vendor, partner and referral channels
n
Build a strong pipeline of new technology-services business
n
Identify opportunities within existing client and commercial relationships
n
n




What you must have
n
n
At least three years of successful B2B business development experience
n
Proven experience selling IT or technology services
n
A record of personally originating and winning current clients
n
Experience selling to Australian SMB and mid-market organisations
n
Established relationships across the Australian SMB, mid-market or technology-partner ecosystem
n
The ability to create opportunities without relying on supplied leads
n
Experience in managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, networking or related professional technology services
n
