Job Description
Manage medium to large-scale projects, including fee proposals, tender submissions, project planning, resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and technical delivery.
n
Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development to engineers and technical staff.
n
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while exceeding client expectations.
n
Apply advanced engineering expertise to deliver practical, innovative, and commercially effective solutions.
n
Manage the technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and TTW policies.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
n
Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work and growing existing client relationships.
n
Support workforce planning, resource management, and the implementation of TTW's strategic objectives.
n
Who are we looking for?
n
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia.
n
Ideally a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent international accreditation
n
10+ years of engineering design experience within a consulting setting.
n
Robust knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA) and relevant Australian Standards is highly regarded
n
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex engineering projects.
n
Proven project management skills, including commercial, financial, and resource management.
n
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
n
A collaborative mindset with a passion for developing people and building long-term client relationships.
