Medical Receptionist | One Day per Week | Southern Sydney

Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for a three-month contract within an established mixed billing medical practice in Southern Sydney
n
This position is one day per week every Friday, commencing in the week of 10 August ****.
n
The contract rate is $40 to $45 per hour.
n
About the Role
n
You will manage front-desk operations, patient enquiries and appointment bookings while supporting an efficient medical practice environment.
n
The successful candidate must understand medical centre workflows and confidently use Best Practice software.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries
n
Schedule, amend and confirm patient appointments
n
Greet and register patients professionally
n
Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entryLiaise with doctors, patients and practice staff
n
Support daily reception and administrative workflows
n
Resolve basic technology and software issues
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Previous medical reception experience
n
Current experience using Best Practice software
n
Strong knowledge of medical centre operations
n
Confident telephone and patient service skills
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong technology and computer skills
n
Ability to work independently every Friday
n
