Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced production machine operators for immediate starts in Erskine Park. Monday to Friday working on the day shift, 6am – 2pm with daily overtime and paying $36 p/hr + overtime rates + Super.

The Role: Production Machine Operators – Day Shift
n
A leading manufacturer in the beverage industry is seeking an experienced Machine Operators to join their team on a busy automated production line. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term stability.
n
You will be responsible for the efficient operation of automated filling, packaging, and processing machinery within a high-volume production facility. Daily overtime is available, and the role involves rotating between various tasks to support continuous production flow.
n
Your main duties will involve:
n
n
Operate and monitor automated beverage filling and packaging machinery.
n
Work on a production line filling and packaging cask water products.
n
Ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are sufficiently stocked.
n
Troubleshoot minor issues and escal when necessary.
n




Assist with changeovers and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
n
Perform quality checks and maintain accurate QC documentation.
n
Set up and adjust machinery, resolving basic mechanical problems.
n
Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMP.
n
Clean and sanitise production areas, equipment, and wash down machinery.
n
Remove sealed boxes from conveyor and load onto pallets.
n
Support safe start-up and shutdown procedures.
n
Meet production targets and monitor line performance, escalating issues when required.
n
Work safely, responsibly, and in compliance with company quality systems
n
Matching customer labels and paperwork to orders
n

The Candidates:
n
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:
n
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience as a machine operator in FMCG or similar high-speed manufacturing.
n
Experience operating filling, labelling, packaging, and processing machinery.
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
n
Understanding of HACCP, GMP, hygiene protocols, and quality systems.
n
Ability to meet production and efficiency targets.
n
Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
n
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
n
Ability to manually load/unload materials and work on your feet.
n
Previous experience with high-volume processing equipment (highly regarded).
n
Own reliable transport (shift times outside public transport hours).
n
Full Australian working rights required
n
Forklift License advantageous and Forklift rate increase to $38 p/hr
