Adams Towing is seeking an experienced and qualified Tow Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in West Gosford NSW ****, this role is integral to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of damaged vehicles to our repair facilities and customer locations. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be the face of our company on the road, responsible for providing exceptional service whilst maintaining the highest safety and professional standards. This position plays a crucial role in delivering customer satisfaction and supporting the smooth operation of our smash repair business.

What you'll be doing
n
Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport damaged, impounded or broken down vehicles
n
Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the tow truck and equipment are in optimal working condition
n
Securing vehicles properly using appropriate towing techniques and equipment to prevent damage during transport
n
Responding promptly to Accident and breakdown calls from customers and partner organisations
n
Navigating traffic and various road conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of driving safety and adhering to all traffic regulations
n
Communicating effectively with customers, providing updates on collection times and professional assistance
n
Maintaining accurate records of towing jobs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and job details
n
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the tow truck to keep it in excellent condition
n
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times
n
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles when required, using correct manual handling techniques
n
Alternative roster with weekends and 2 nights p/w on call.

What we're looking for
n
Current and valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (HR) or equivalent, with a clean driving record
n
Current Tow Truck Certificate
n
Current Police Check
n
Proven experience operating tow trucks in a skilled capacity
n
Strong knowledge of vehicle securing techniques and towing equipment operation
n
Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate large vehicles safely in all road and weather conditions
n
A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues
n
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet tight schedules and respond to urgent callouts
n
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and securing vehicles
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with road transport regulations
n
Familiarity with the West Gosford region and surrounding areas is advantageous
n
