Balmain Care For Kids are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee educator. This is a full-time role based in our Balmain, NSW. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in the childcare industry while working towards your nationally recognised qualification, being a Certificate 3 in Early Education.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children
n
Participating in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programs and activities
n
Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for the children
n
Communicating effectively with parents and families
n
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
n
Participating in ongoing professional development and training
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
No experience required, you will learn in the role
n
A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well‐being
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to work well in a team environment
n




Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work towards a relevant childcare qualification
n
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
