Associate to Senior Associate – Insurance Litigation

An exciting chance is available for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Canberra office of a highly regarded national law firm.
n
You will work closely with an experienced Partner and a collaborative insurance team on a diverse range of complex matters, including:
n
n
Public liability claims
n
Historical abuse matters
n
Commonwealth workers' compensation
n
CTP claims
n
Litigation in the ACT and NSW Courts, ACAT and the Administrative Review Tribunal
n
n
The firm represents major insurers, self-insured organisations and government departments, providing exposure to high-quality clients and challenging matters.
n




This opportunity would suit a high-performing Associate ready to step up to Senior Associate level or an emerging Senior Associate seeking greater responsibility and career progression.
n
About you:
n
n
At least 3 years' post-admission experience
n
Experience in defendant liability, CTP, historical abuse or another insurance-related area
n
Strong written communication and file-management skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
n
Experience mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous
n
n
Candidates from plaintiff law firms or in-house legal teams are also encouraged to apply.
