Design & Build are seeking an experienced Foreman to join a Melbourne based builder specialising in high-end residential construction.
n
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing business delivering architecturally designed townhouses, apartments and bespoke single dwellings, with projects typically valued up to $10m.
n
Working closely with the Project Management team, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of projects, coordinating trades, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
n
Ensure that construction projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
n
Create and manage project schedules, ensuring on-time delivery.
n
Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
n




Collaborate with project managers to meet budgetary and timeline goals.
n
Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor usage.
n
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control.
n
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Proven experience as a Foremanwithin residential construction.
n
Experience working on high-end townhouse, apartment or bespoke single dwelling projects valued $5m+.
n
Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site coordination.
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate trades.
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and documentation.
n
Robust organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
