Chef – Eloise Copper Mine (FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane)

AIC Mines is entering an exciting period of growth across our North West Queensland operations, with Jericho Mine staging into production over the coming months.
n
Located near Cloncurry, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines' growth strategy and offers the opportunity to join a strong operational team focused on safety, teamwork, performance and continuous improvement.

About the role:
n
No FIFO experience? That's okay, the most key thing is you are a great Chef.Eloise is known for our fresh and tasty food and our kitchen crew work together to make this happen, so being a team player is a must.
n
Shifts are 12 hours per day and alternate each fortnight between dinner shift (8.30 am to 8.00 pm)and night shift (8.00 pm to 8.30 am).
n
This role allows flexibility to create your own menu and would best suit someone who is passionate about their career but also wants a FIFO lifestyle.
n
This is a permanent, full time,



FIFO role from Townsville or Brisbane with an 8/6 Day Shift and 7/7 Night Shift roster.Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.

Key Requirements:
n
n
Cert III or above (qualified Chef).
n
Available to start in the next 3-4 weeks.
n
Experienced in bulk food preparation, cooking and ordering stock.
n
Work well under pressure.
n
Strong work ethic, reliableand motivated.
n
Excellent communicator and team player.
n
Supervise, train and mentor staff as required.
n
Plan and measure work time realistically.
n
Full working rights in Australia.
n
Physically fit and can pass a medical assessment and police clearance.
n
