Tasmanian Wild Seafood Adventures is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Skipper to join our growing team.
n
This position is offered as an initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right person.
n
About the Role
n
You'll be responsible for operating our commercial tourism vessels, delivering exceptional experiences for guests while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
n
Our fleet includes:
n
n
16-metre commercial catamaran
n
12-metre commercial RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat)
n
n
No two days are the same. You'll be involved in:
n
n
Skippering commercial tourism cruises
n
Interacting with guests and providing outstanding customer service
n
Vessel preparation before trips
n
Cleaning and post-trip pack-down
n
Assisting with routine vessel maintenance
n
Supporting the day-to-day operation of the business
n
n
Full training will be provided on our procedures, tour operations, and vessel-specific systems.
n
Essential Requirements
n
Applicants must hold:
n
n
Master Certificate of Competency
n
MED 3 (minimum)
n
Current First Aid (preferred)
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
n
Current driver's licence
n
n
