The Role
n
We are currently hiring for an Assistant Manager to joinour medical centre team located at Our Medical North Lakes.
n
This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Practice Manager. You will be responsible for completing administration tasks and customer service tasks on a day-to-day basis. You will also support the Practice Manager by providing supervision, training and mentoring to new and less experience administration staff to grow into their role.
n
You will be a customer service-focused professional with experience working in a general practice environment. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to patients and providing administration support to our healthcare professionals.
n
You will be familiar with Medicare and will preferably have experience in using Best Practice, practice management software.
n




Essential Experience & Qualities
n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
High standards of personal presentation.
n
Able to work independently on a variety of administration tasks
n
Act as a role model within the administration team
n
n
The Person
n
To be considered for this role, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
n
n
Previous experience in the healthcare industry in a similar role
n
Experience with Best Practice or similar practice management systems will be viewed favourably
n
Self-motivated individual with a qualified, enthusiastic and "can do" attitude
n
Robust attention to detail and ability to problem solve
n
Highly organised
n
Experience in people management
n
n
