About the role
n
We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our team at our Maroochydore office on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a growing practice. As Associate Lawyer, you will play a key role in managing client matters, providing legal advice, and contributing to the success of our firm. This position offers the chance to work on diverse cases whilst being supported by experienced practitioners with future career growth chance.

What you'll be doing
n
Providing comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients
n
Preparing and reviewing legal documentation, including statements of claim, defence documents and settlement agreements
n
Managing client files from initial instruction through to resolution, ensuring timely and efficient case progression
n
Conducting legal research and analysis on personal injury law matters, case law and statutory requirements
n
Liaising with clients, insurance representatives, medical professionals and other relevant parties to progress matters
n
Participating in negotiations and discussions aimed at achieving favourable outcomes for clients
n




Maintaining accurate and up-to-date file management and time recording practices
n
Contributing to the development and maintenance of practice systems, templates and resources
n
Providing support to senior lawyers and working collaboratively with colleagues across the practice
n
What we're looking for
n
Admission to legal practice as a lawyer in Queensland
n
A minimum of 2-3 years' post-admission experience
n
Demonstrated experience in managing client files independently and efficiently
n
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and legal professionals
n
Strong research and analytical capabilities with attention to detail
n
The ability to work autonomously whilst being a collaborative team member
n
Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
n
Excellent client service skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
n
Professional conduct and integrity in every respect
