About the Role:
n
We're seeking a Quality Control Assistant to join our rapid-paced QA Team at Morningside. If you're detail-focused, reliable, and committed to quality, this could be the opportunity for you.

What we offer:

$***** per hour + Superannuation + Penalties for additional hours
n
Monday to Friday, 38 hours/week
n
Full Time, Permanent Role with early starts and early finishes
n

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Monitor production processes through routine product inspections and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
n
Conduct and accurately record scale, metal detector, gas analyser, air temperature, thermometer, label,



and product quality checks.
n
Maintain daily records and documentation for traceability, identify issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
n
Conduct Black Bag (foreign body), GMP, and pre- and post-operational audits to ensure factory compliance.
n
Work closely with the production team to maintain high-quality products and perform other duties required for the role.
n
n
About You:
n
n
HACCP or Food Safety training with previous experience in a similar role.
n
Experience in the food industry, particularly seafood, meat, poultry, or food safety inspection.
n
Sound understanding of WHS, GMP, and food safety requirements, with strong attention to detail.
n
Ability to work effectively in a team, work in cold temperatures, and hold full Australian working rights.
n
