Join our expanding organisation as an experienced, values-driven OSHC Coordinator supporting and leading our Yamba and Maclean services. Initially, you will work alongside the two incumbent Coordinators as they prepare for long service leave and succession. In ****, you will assume leadership of Yamba OSHC, guiding the service and team, strengthening partnerships with the school, parish and families, and delivering safe, engaging and high-quality care for school-aged children.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations, compliance, educational programs, people leadership and sustainability of both services. Working across Yamba and Maclean, you will foster a consistent child-safe culture while ensuring each service remains connected to its school and local community.

You will lead with compassion and approachability, creating an setting where team members feel supported to contribute and children experience positive, engaging and productive interactions.
n
This role is ideal for an organised and collaborative leader who enjoys balancing hands-on engagement with children, team development, regulatory responsibilities and strong community relationships.

About You (Selection Criteria)
n
Have a genuine passion for outside school hours care and the ability to build positive,
respectful relationships with school-aged children.
n
Hold Diploma in Children Services or Working Towards ACECQA approved Qualifications
n
Have experience managing or coordinating an education and care service, preferably in OSHC, preschool or long day care.
n
Communicate confidently and respectfully with children, families, educators, schools, parishes and regulatory stakeholders.
n
Be proactive, solutions-focused and committed to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for children.
n
Have the capacity to meet the requirements for appointment as a Nominated Supervisor.
n
Be available to work broken shifts Monday to Friday during school terms and during Vacation Care periods.
n
Ability to work on-site at both Yamba and Maclean services, with drivers' licence and access to reliable vehicle
n
Hold current compliance certificates, including a Working with Children Check, Gecko mandatory training and Child Protection certification, together with any other accreditation required for the role.
