Job Description
You will be responsible for operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations to transport plant, equipment, and construction materials safely and efficiently between project sites while maintaining compliance with all transport regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities
n

Operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations between civil project sites
n
Transporting plant, machinery, quarry materials, soil and other civil materials
n
Safely loading, unloading and securing machinery and materials
n
Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance
n
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and serviceability
n
Managing delivery schedules and site movements efficiently
n
Complying with all Work Health & Safety (WHS)
requirementsCompleting
all required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and delivery dockets
n
Working closely with site supervisors and project teams to support operations
n

About you
n

Demonstrated experience operating Float and/or Truck & Dog combinations
n
Current White Card (Construction Induction)
n
Float Drivers must hold a current unrestricted MC Licence
n
Truck & Dog Drivers must hold a current unrestricted HC Licence or above
n
Robust understanding of load restraint, transport compliance, and fatigue management
n
Civil construction or quarry haulage experience highly regarded
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated attitude
n
