GPS Contracting Specialises in civil sewer and water infrastructure. We work across Sydney and have a strong reputation for safely delivering high-quality civil plumbing works for major infrastructure and utility clients including Sydney Water, Developers, Builders and Private Clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Plumber to join our team.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Install, maintain, repair, and commission potable water, sewer and stormwater
n
Read and interpret plumbing, civil, hydraulic and construction drawings and specifications
n
General civil construction and labouring duties
n
Assisting excavator operators and other plant operators
n
Trenching, excavation and backfilling works
n
Pit, conduit and underground service installation
n
Site establishment and pack-up
n
Spotting plant and equipment
n
Use of hand and power tools
n
Loading, unloading and movement of materials
n
Working around existing underground services
n
Site clean-up and maintaining tidy work areas
n
n
Requirements for the role:
n




n
Previous civil construction or utilities experience
n
Hold a NSW Drivers Licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Current white card
n
Current NSW plumbing qualifications and the appropriate licence or certificate for the role
n
Sydney Water Accreditation will be highly regarded
n
HR/MR truck licence an advantage
n
Excavator, skid steer, roller, EWP, dogging or other plant tickets an advantage
n
Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
n
Reliable, punctual and safety focused
n
Hourly rate dependant on experience
