ibis Mackay is looking to welcome a Front Office All Rounder to join our growing Front Office team. As a Front Office All Rounder, your mission is to ensure our guests enjoy their stay with us through providing warm, genuine and responsive service.

The Role
n

Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, courteous and efficient check in and check out.
n
Assist with reservations tasks
n
Assisting guests with requests and creating memorable experiences
n
Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions.
n
Daily liaison with inter-departments such housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities
n
Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and confident handling of customer complaints in an efficient and proactive manner
n
Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay
n
n
What we are looking for
n
n
A natural ability to authentically connect with people
n




Excellent time management skills
n
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a Hotel setting
n
Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and hotel PMS (preferably OPERA Cloud)
n
The ability to multi-task and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues
n
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
n
Exceptional communication skills
n
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
n
Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, evenings, overnights and public holidays
n
