This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on a family-friendly 7/7 rotating day and night roster, working on a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

About the Role
n
Working within the Mobile Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding,



and repair of high-voltage systems on heavy mobile mining equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Diagnose and repair faults on high-voltage electrical systems
n
Maintain and repair inverters, converters, traction motors, HV batteries and associated components
n
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile equipment
n
Complete inspections and testing in accordance with OEM and site requirements
n
Utilise diagnostic software and specialised testing equipment
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
n
Work safely in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
n
n
About You - To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent trade qualification)
n
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
Current HV Switching qualification
n
Current CPR/LVR
n
Standard 11
n
Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Proven experience as an HV Electrician on heavy mobile mining equipment
n
Experience working on CAT, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment highly regarded
n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HV electrical systems
n
Commitment to secure work practices and quality workmanship
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n

Current BMA Core Induction
n
Experience in open-cut coal mining environments
n
