HAYLO People are a specialist recruitment agency within the Personal Injury & Insurance industry, and we're partnering with a leading legal business looking looking for a detail-focused and proactiveBilling Specialistto join their General Insurance team in Sydney.

In this role, you'll manage the end‐to‐end billing process across a portfolio of insurance matters, working closely with Partners, Lawyers and Finance to ensure invoices are accurate, timely and aligned with client and insurer requirements.
n
You'll have the opportunity to work across complex billing arrangements, includingLloyd's of London, London Market and overseas insurers, while playing an important role in supporting revenue collection and delivering a high level of client service.
n
This role would suit someone with experience inlegal, qualified services or insurance billing, as well as an early‐career legal support or operations professional looking to develop their billing expertise.

Your day to day responsibilities:
n
n
Manage theend-to-end billing process, from WIP review through to accurate and timely invoice submission.
n
Prepare and manage invoices forLloyd's of London, London Market and overseas insurers, including complex slip‐based and co‐insurance billing.
n
Review billing requirements, includingGST, client guidelines, insurer requirements and engagement terms, to ensure invoices are compliant and accurate.
n
Work closely withPartners, Lawyers, Legal Assistants, Finance, brokers and insurersto resolve billing queries and ensure a smooth billing process.
n
MonitorWIP, billing volumes and outstanding invoices, supporting revenue collection and identifying opportunities to improve billing performance.
n
Maintain accurate billing records and contribute toprocess improvements, reporting and billing efficiencyacross the team.
n

About You
n
Ideally you will have:
n
n
Experience within legal, professional services or insurance billing, including WIP management and invoice preparation.
n
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and Microsoft Excel capability.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
n
Experience with Lloyd's of London, London Market, insurance billing or Elite 3E would be highly regarded.
n
Slip-based billing and co‐insurance.
n
GST requirements for domestic and overseas insurers.
n
Previous experience in a law firm, insurance or professional services environment.
n
