Key Responsibilities

Diagnosing and fixing problems with engines and vehicle parts.
n
Taking apart and inspecting engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts.
n
Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the automotive repair industry and implement new techniques and practices as appropriate to improve service quality and efficiency.
n
Replacing worn-out parts and putting mechanical parts back together correctly.
n
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts to make sure they work well after repairs.
n
Utilizing computer diagnostic tools to efficiently test and assess vehicle components.
n
Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals when necessary.
n
Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, issuing certificates for those that pass,



or providing a list of necessary repairs to meet the required standards.
n
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups.
n
Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements.
n
Follow safety procedures.

Requirements

n
Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
n
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
n
Understanding of automotive workshop processes.
n
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
n
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
