Ideally based in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour, NSW if don't mind the travel every 4 - 6 weeks.

Areas to cover:

Taree - 10 residents
n
12 hours per week (1.5 days - Monday mornings and Fridays)

Must be able to do an onsite visit every week.

We are working with a company that are looking for Vocationally or Generally registered GP to work on a refer and request basis for an Aged Care GP Program. The Doctor will be using a combination of visits or telehealth to service the areas. Items will be bulk billed on refer and request provider Number. Allows closer involvement of family members and carers with consultations with facility staff and health care professionals

Stronger collaboration between clinicians in primary care and the care facility

This model addresses several of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care

Eligibility
n
n
Doctors must have Vocational or General Registration'
n
Doctor must have full Australian work rights
n
Doctors must have experience in ED and or General Practice.
n
Doctors that are restricted by the moratorium are able to apply.
n

Port Macquarie, NSW region
n
