As known player in the building services space - this group are working on a range of projects including; Commercial, Residential, Data Centre, education, health, industrial, new / old buildings and community.

The Role:
n
We're looking for an experienced Fire Designer / Drafter who has demonstrated experience working on local buildings projects as mentioned above. Join a healthy functional team who provide support, high level mentoring as well as growth opportunities, flexibility and development to keep you moving forward.

Duties / Key attributes within the role:
n
n
Design, engineering and documentation of Wet & Dry Fire Protection (Buildings Services) projects.
n
Provide a good level of expertise and problem solving capability around the technical / fire protection business unit.
n
Experience with installation / fabrication sheets
n
Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise with project stakeholders.
n




Working onprojects from early design through to construction on Sprinklers, piping, fire detection / suppression, hydrants, Hydraulics, hosereels, water/fire and storm water systems ensuring construction codes, standards and client expectations are being met.
n
Liaising with the Architect, Clients and authorities.
n
Coordinating with other
engineeringdisciplines
including Hydraulics, Mechanical & Electrical.
n

Salary:

$140K - $180K Pkg (Negotiable pending experience)
n
Skills and experience:
n
n
Qualifications in engineering / building discipline
n
Minimum 3 + years relevant experience in a consulting / Contractor or building services environment.
n
Previous experience using Revit & CAD on local projects will be helpful
n
Knowledge and experience using Australian codes and standards (NCC)
n
CP Eng / RPEQ accredited useful but not essential
n
Good all round communication skills
n
