The Network are seeking multiple experienced Lead Data Engineers to deliver up-to-date enterprise data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, AI and machine learning outcomes within a major Federal Government environment.

This is a hands-on senior role with opportunities across Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Skills
n
n
Strong Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric experience
n
PySpark, Spark SQL, Python and SQL
n
Delta Lake, Lakehouse and Medallion architectures
n
Databricks Workflows and Unity Catalog
n
Azure Data Factory and ADLS Gen2
n
Enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration
n
Data modelling, quality, lineage and governance
n
Git, Azure DevOps,



CI/CD and automated testing
n
Experience supporting analytics, AI or ML workloads
n
Technical leadership and stakeholder engagement
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You will have recent hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions, with the ability to independently lead technical outcomes while remaining actively involved in engineering and development.
n
Location: ACT, NSW, VIC or QLD - Canberra based 3 days per week strong preference.
n
