Deliver expert care predominantly to First Nations primarystudents

About the role:

Carinity Education Shalom is seeking a dedicated andcompassionate primary teacher who thrives in a trauma-

You'll play avital role in using a holistic approach that supports thespiritual, cultural, and educational growth of your students,fostering their wellbeing, development, and success both in and outof the classroom. Your day-to-day will involve:
n
n
Creating a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, and
culturallyresponsive
learning environment
n
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with theAustralian Curriculum that support students' learning andpersonal growth
n
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing timelyand constructive feedback
n
Build strong, respectful relationships with students,families, and staff by demonstrating unconditional positiveregard and consistent role modelling.
n
Collaborate across teams by participating in planning,debrief sessions, and school wide activities such asexcursions, camps, and assemblies.
n
Maintain accurate records and reporting, including
studentassessments,
attendance, behaviour incidents, and learningoutcomes.
n
Uphold safety, child protection, and Christian values,ensuring a calm,
secure school environment in line withorganisational ethos and policies.
n

About you:
n
We are looking for the right teacher to build strong,
respectfulrelationships
with everyone in our school community, from studentsand teachers to families and support staff. You'll bring acompassionate and calm approach to supporting young people,especially those at risk, helping guide their growth with
patience,understanding,
and care.

In addition,
n
n
Qualified and a QCT registered teacher
n
Strong classroom management, high expectations
teaching,culturally
responsive and trauma-informed practice
n
Possession of valid Driver's Licence
n
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
n
Alignment with Carinity's Christian ethos and values ofcompassion, respect and teamwork
