We are Melbourne's premier tree company, operating one of the most advanced and well‐maintained fleets in the industry — and we're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to take ownership of our Kilsyth‐based factory and fleet.

The Role
n
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll:
n
Service & Maintain Our Fleet
n
Wood chippers
n
Stump grinders
n
EWP trucks
n
Passenger vehicles & utes
n
Trailers and specialist equipment
n
Race Car Preparation
n
Spice things up by doing some prep work on the championship winning Pro‐Cut Tree Services Holden Monaro
n
Fabrication and engineering
repairs/development
n
Breakdown response across metro Melbourne
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
n
Keep downtime to an absolute minimum
n
Preventative Maintenance
n
Develop and manage service schedules
n
Implement systems to prevent costly breakdowns
n
Maintain compliance and safety standards
n
Workshop Management
n




Run and organise our Kilsyth workshop
n
Manage parts inventory and supplier relationships
n
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop standards
n
Contribute to fleet upgrades and improvements
n
Who We're Looking For
n
You are:
n
Highly organised and take pride in your workshop
n
Experienced with hydraulics, trucks & heavy machinery
n
Comfortable working independently
n
Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
n
Committed to safety and quality workmanship
n
Bonus points if you've worked with arborist equipment or heavy plant.
