We are seeking full time forklift operators with loading experience to work on the afternoon shift
n
of our transport department at our Erskine Park, NSW site.
n
Job tasks and responsibilities
n
Your roles will include:
n
n
Operating a forklift to move, unload, load, or put away freight.
n
Ensure shipments are accurate, free of damage, and labelled clearly.
n
Efficiently and securely stack and store products in appropriate areas.
n
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
n
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
n




Operating a counterbalance forklift – unloading, loading trailers and rigid trucks.
n
Experience with Mez floors
n
Use of restraints – gates, straps and angles
n
Accuracy of weight distribution when loading
n
Understanding the loading and unloading processes
n
Manual Handling Duties – Includes Sortation of cartons/parcels
n
RF scanning
n
Being able to work unsupervised and as a team
n
n
Skills and experience
n
n
Candidates must be experienced in the operation of forklifts, with truck loading experience.
n
Candidates must have a relevant forklift license.
n
You must be literate and numerate with some basic computer skills.
n
Knowledge of local and regional NSW areas
